Lush in Melbourne

Besides perfume, I also have a penchant for other scented products. One of my favourite shops to visit is Lush, which sells fresh handmade cosmetics. I stumbled upon Lush in 2002 when visiting a friend in Melbourne and instantly became a devoted fan. What’s unique about Lush is that products here share the distinctive scent of fresh, sweet-smelling essential oils, which can lure you inside from several doors away; such is the power of this delightful scent! Once inside, you’ll be mesmerized by the delicious aroma enveloping every nook and cranny of this fragrance haven.

With or without intent, there's always something to buy at Lush. You’ll be spoilt for choice with Lush’s extensive range of Skincare items, Soaps, Fragrances, Hair care products, Massage Bars and Bath & Shower products. My personal favourites are the Bath Ballistics and Bubble Bar Slices - they smell so yummy and look so enticing, almost good enough to eat!

For me, everything I need to emerge from my bath or shower feeling completely rejuvenated and smelling delicious is right here at Lush. Unfortunately, Lush has yet to make its way to Malaysia. So in the meantime, I'll just have to settle for stocking up on my favourite Lush items during occasional trips abroad!

Bubbly Champagne

Collecting all my favourite miniature perfumes is not as easy as one might think! Firstly, not all of them are very cheap, so it's a pretty expensive hobby. Secondly, shops selling them are limited here, so it's not every day I'll come across good miniature perfumes for my gallery. I have to depend on perfume shopping online, and of course, there are the special miniature sets that occasionally pop out during festive season, which reminds me - Christmas sale is around the corner. Oh, and there's the occasional trips abroad, which gives me the chance to widen my search. My last trip to Tokyo was fruitful, managed to get some really cool ones!

Champagne by YSL is another personal favourite. Initially launched as Champagne in 1994, it was later renamed Yvresse. I've been searching for the Champagne miniature for a while now but then again, if the normal bottle itself is hard to find here, what more the miniature!

An exquisite fragrance, designed for the alluring woman, one who sparkles and shines just like actual champagne. Classified as a refreshing fruity-floral fragrance it is recommended for day wear. Tantalizing and intensely feminine, I'd say that Champagne is also perfect for a night of sensuous fun, when you're in the mood for some adventure!

Compatibles: Every star sign, especially when there's a full moon.

Defining Beauty

Today, I purchased Estee Lauder's Spray Favorites Set. Estee happens to be one of my favourites. Scents from them which I love are Pleasures, Pleasures Intense and White Linen Breeze. Depending on the mood I'm in, I sometimes lean towards the more sensual and sophisticated Knowing or Dazzling Gold.

The packaging caught my eye instantly. An eye candy handbag gift-box, in sweet baby blue, compact in size, and delicate in finishing - a definite collectible!

Estee's favourites like White Linen & Beautiful adds a classic touch to the 3 newer scents of Pleasures, Beyond Paradise & Intuition. A lovely combination - definitely deserves a special spot in my gallery!
