Did I NOT tell you that I'm an 80s kinda girl? That's right folks, this week we are heading back into time, way back to 1983. Are you ready for some love from KC & The Sunshine Band? :)
I was torn between choosing which video I was going to show you today. The first one is not of very good quality. However, you will get to see KC himself performing the song I have chosen for this week's Music Monday. Though extremely blurry, you will get a chance to poke fun at what was going on in the 80s, especially the weird big hairdos and dressing from back then LOL!
The other one I had in mind is an extended version of this song. Though there is no specific music video you will at least get to enjoy listening to the song. And since this is an old school fave of mine, I do love the idea of having it run longer while I drop my EC cards tonight!
Hmmmm decisions decisions but either way, I hope you will enjoy my pick this week. Give it Up by KC & The Sunshine Band is so cool that no matter when I listen to it, all I feel like doing is dance the day...or night away! My worries instantly disappear as I get totally lost in the music and all I feel is a whole lotta love, joy and FUN! :)
Okay, it's almost 1am now and if I want to get this post out soon, I will have to decide on which version to feature. I think I will go with...my third option (forgot to mention there is a third one lol)! This version, among the three, is the clearest, listening wise. Now that's finally out of the way, who wants to join me in my crazy dance with KC? Happy listening and helloooooo Monday! :)
