I've always wanted to try these deliciously interesting Japanese crepes so during our recent Tokyo vacation; I made sure that was on my agenda! I made it top priority for me to have a bite and taste for myself the sweet delicacy sold in many stalls and kiosks all over Tokyo.
This little shop is just a few doors away from Lush, so after some serious Lush shopping, we stopped by for a quick bite. As you can see from the picture above, savoury crepes are also available but I was not feeling adventurous to try those so I stuck to traditional sweet crepes for choice.
I had the banana chocolate with cream. I know it sounds sinfully rich but it was really yummy and I've yet to taste something this tasty here, dessert-wise that is. The banana chocolate crepe was sweet and soft, and you can really taste the wonderful banana-chocolate combination. One bite and you will be basking in the scrumptious delight that can only come with real good tasting crepes. The filling is generous too so be careful when you take your first bite. If you're clumsy like me, the chocolate sauce just might ooze its way out and drip down the side of the crepe and you'll end up with a messy choc stain on your top!
Have you tried Japanese crepes yet and did you love it as much as I did?
