Online Shopping Tips

If you love online shopping as much as me, you may want to take heed of these cool handy tips while indulging in your shopaholic ways. Shopping online is cool because I do believe that there are just some things you can't find anywhere else but online.

I used to buy my miniature perfumes from eBay and it has been ages since I enjoyed perfume shopping online. Maybe it's time to take a break from my crazy gaming activities and shop away this weekend. By the way, my mom got me a New Year's gift early this year. It was a mini perfume set, which she knows I adore! Unfortunately, I already have the very same set, which I bought on my scent-sational Singapore trip last year!

I love my Mom however for thinking of me and appreciating my passion with this scent-sational gift and now I have two sets! gelakguling

Nothing to Wear!

The same old problem rears its ugly head whenever I open my closet to get dressed. I see plenty of jeans, t-shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts … and yet I still scream to B “I have nothing to wear”! As usual, he will dismiss my 'nonsense' with a standard “There, got plenty of stuff to wear whaaaaaat”! gatai

I’m thinking it’s just difficult for guys to understand what goes on behind the words “Nothing to wear”. Yes there are plenty of clothes stuffed inside my closet but do they fit the way I feel? There are days when I feel like nothing looks good on me, especially when I am feeling F.. or bloated or even when I’m having a bad-hair-day and whatever I pick out doesn't seem to complement my look. Sounds like a trivial problem perhaps but trust me, it is a worrying one and more so when I have a date with friends!
adus

Anyway, this weekend is a working one for my Darling so I’m hoping he’ll take tomorrow off so we can shop for new clothes. Right now however, I’m cooking for I would like to send
B off to work with a full tummy.

Later, I plan to do a little online shopping at an awesome site I discovered, which sells custom T-shirts and funny posters for some of my favourite TV shows like American Idol, Weeds, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and more! I noticed a few soaps too like All My Children and General Hospital but too bad Bold and Beautiful aren't offering any merchandise items. I would love to collect mugs and tees and what not of B&B especially those featuring my not-so-secret crush Ridge Forrester! rindu

Besides tees, there are also adorable mugs, funny demotivational poster, bags, bumper stickers, teddy bears and other cool stuff. It’s definitely a wonderful place to shop for unique gifts as well so you might want to drop by the site too. Hmmm, maybe I should get a personalized mug like this one!

Angrily Shopping!

You should have seen B's face when I told him I wanted to drown my sorrows by buying an iPad! After receiving some depressing news today, I got all riled up so B suggested retail therapy. I guess he didn’t expect me to immediately choose a pricey must-have-feel-good item so his jaw dropped when I angrily shouted, "I want to buy an iPad!" Smiley

Of course, that was me talking when furious and frustrated. Girls tend to do that sometimes, follow their heart and rush out to buy something big to forget the pain. The bigger the item, the lesser the pain! But after calming down and eating myself into oblivion, I decided to shop around for a new pair of shades instead!

Sunglasses are essential for me and I think I want to start collecting them. I have only three pairs of fashionable eyewear right now but one is so old that I hardly ever use it, which leaves me with two! And that simply doesn’t sound right!
ihikhik

So I figured a nice new pair of shades with vintage frames ought to do the trick. An awesome pair of shades will make me feel great about myself and perhaps ward off the gloom blowing my way. I am trying to forget by shopping, which is bad for my wallet. But I am also limiting my purchase to something less pricey than an
iPad, which is good for my wallet LOL! I am off to shop online for my new eyewear now! Smiley

Coming Home!

Guess who is coming home for a visit? Baby Issy! Isn't that great? I can't wait to grab my adorable niece in a big fat hug! I'm sure she has grown even more since B and I saw her last on our European Escapade and I hope she still remembers me!

Travelling long distance with babies and kids is not easy. Besides worrying about your luggage there's also a little one to attend to so if you have to bring baby stuff like a stroller with you; make sure it's a lightweight stroller.

Kids can get fussy and cranky if sitting too long and knowing Issy and how active she is; I bet she'd want to run around the plane! It's a good thing my sis only has one kid to worry about for now. Issy is a handful but since she's so cute, you can't help but smile and pinch her chubby cheeks even when she's naughty! ihikhik

Anyway, sis and family will be back for a few months so I am sure they'll be bringing with them the usual baby stuff like Issy's baby stroller and baby booster seat. My mom is already busy cleaning up the guest room and the nursery at home and I am eagerly counting the days till Issy arrives. rindu

I managed to upload a short 20-second video of my niece when B and I visited sis in London. Listen to Issy talk and have fun watching!

Feels Like Winter!

Brrrrrr! It feels like winter in here, which is of course plain silly since we've never truly experienced winter where I'm at. There's no such thing as snow, snowboards, skis etc here but the past two days have been really chilly I'm inclined to feel like winter is upon us! Smiley

As I'm writing this post, I have my fluffy grey blanket covering me and I'm donning flannel sleepwear complete with socks to keep me warm. I don't take the cold well actually and besides dust; cold weather triggers off my sinus problem. So not only am I freezing inside my own home but I am also sneezing non-stop! What I really need right now are hand warmers as well as foot warmers.

What are hand warmers you ask? Well, they're actually pretty cool, which is ironic seeing that these little babies actually keep you WARM. Composed of all natural products, these warmers are also environmentally friendly. Once removed from the packaging and activated by air, the hand warmer will provide up to 10 hours of soothing warmth inside your gloves, pockets or wherever you feel a chill. And right now, I really want to break one open inside my blanket so I'd feel warm and toasty all over! Smiley

This product is not available here in sunny Malaysia so I'm improvising with a hot-water-bottle. But if ever I do come across such hand warmers on my next trip abroad, you can bet I'd bring home a pack. I'm curious that way and I'm keen to see and personally experience just how this product works! ihikhik

By the way, I've just added the snowfall effect to make it feel even more winter-like here at MPG. Thanks Monica for the easy-peasy tutorial! Brrrrrr! Smiley

Currently Into...

...HANDBAGS! This is a big deal to me because I've never been into bags! And that's weird seeing that most girls go ga ga over handbags. If you remember my old post, I did say that if I had to choose between a handbag and perfume, I'd definitely go for the latter. Don't get me wrong though for I do like buying bags but I've never had the need to buy more than 1 at any given time, until now that is! gelakguling

Recently I find myself going crazy over bags and if we shop in a mall, I'd stop at every bag store we pass by. I'd go in, take a look see, oooh and aaah at some
Designer Handbags I like but none I love enough to buy, and then leave. ihikhik

Searching for the perfect bag can get tiring especially when you're like me and prefer to buy one that not only looks great but one that immediately connects with me when I first set my eyes on it. Like this one here! I love the design, the colour and the size of this handbag!

COACH Poppy Signature Sateen Groovy Handbag / Purse / Crossbody

I chanced upon Fribag recently when somebody suggested I check out this site to see if any of the many gorgeous bags available there would take my fancy. I guess this person knows just how fickle I am and having a huge choice of almost every brand imaginable could very well lead me to the perfect white or perhaps, even a cool lime green or pretty lavender handbag! Smiley

COACH POPPY POP ART SIGNATURE C GLAM HANDBAG TOTE

B. MAKOWSKY Victoria Shopper

I found plenty possible buys at Fribag especially from the Coach and the B Makowsky Handbags sections but I am still holding out for the perfect Designer Handbag. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed window shopping at
Fribag and if you are looking for the perfect handbag too, please see this video below for a glimpse of what's in store at Fribag.

I'm going to bookmark this page seeing that this is the first handbag site I actually like thanks to its simple design and user-friendliness. If I were to make a purchase from here, I know I don't have to worry about the process. Happy viewing and wish me luck on my search for the Perfect Handbag! Smiley
