RHD Entrecard Bookmark List - Get It Here!

Our friend Maggie is simply amazing! Author of a wonderful blog called Ramblings of Maggie, she recently made an Entrecard Bookmark List for her set of droppers and was kind enough to create one for the Red Hot Drops as well!

RHD members can now enjoy easy access to all 101 blogs on the list by saving this bookmark file, which only works with Firefox by the way. Follow these simple instructions:

1. Right click here to save the RHD Entrecard list as a .txt file
2. Go to Bookmarks and click on Organize Bookmarks
3. Go to File
4. Click on Import and select the RHD Entrecard file you have saved
5. Close Bookmarks
6. Go to Bookmarks and scroll down to the RHD Entrecard Folder
7. Right click open all tabs (Each group has 5 tabs so it shouldn’t overload your computer)

With this Bookmark List, you can visit all your favourite blogs on the list, 5 blogs at a time! Now, it's even easier for you to drop off your EC, say hello, leave a comment or just stop by for a chat with your fellow RHD members here and here! Thank you Maggie! :)

I'm a Drop Star!

Yeeha! I'm a Drop Star, well according to Tina from Mummies Diaries!

Tina wanted to reward her Top EC Droppers by creating a blogroll dedicated to her Top Droppers and MPG is one of them, so YAY! Thank you to Tina and her sidekick Tammy, who is also co-hosting this blogroll. MPG is very pleased to be a part of this blogroll and I love the badge too. It definitely goes very well here! :)

Although I have more than 99 blogs to drop on from the Red Hot Drops blogroll, it is always nice to have a wider range of blogs to go through daily. Sometimes, you get tired of dropping your EC on a particular blog, only to get zero reciprocated so far, so you tend to look for those who think the same way you do and drop on those who will most likely return the favour. And though I've secured quite a handful of reciprocals from the RHD, there's always room for more. So being included in this Drop Star blogroll is a bonus for me. Plus, I'll get to make more new friends so thanks again ladies! I wonder when Mariuca will be a Drop Star! :)

According to Tina, this is How it works:

Top droppers we count as people that have dropped on us at least 8 times ever (you don't necessarily have to drop on both our blogs. It could be 8 drops on Mummy Diaries or 8 over at Mom Knows Everything).

We will check to see who our top droppers are in the Entrecard statistics page, and the qualifying ones will be added to our joint blogroll, on both our sites.

Stumble Upon Meme

Emila has tagged me with a new meme ... the Stumble Upon Meme! I remember Bobby was the one who introduced me to SU. Unfortunately, I never really got around to finding out all the benefits of SU, so I thought this would be a great time for me to rediscover SU and learn what it's all about by taking part in this meme.

I read that it is possible to increase the traffic of your blog through StumbleUpon. So I have decided to try it out, with your help of course. Here is the concept:

Stumble the pages that link to you. In this way you drive more traffic to the page containing your link and thus you hope that some of that traffic comes back to you via the link on that page.

Let's modify things a bit and make our very own StumbleWorthy list. Why have a list, you say? A list is necessary for the participants to StumbleUpon. And also, it's needed to check whether the participants are really Stumble-ing. Plus, it helps your Technorati authority soar high!

EC Widget - Last 50 Droppers!

After searching high and low for a nice Entrecard droppers widget, I finally found a really cool one over at Work At Home Wealth! It's pretty simple to put up, and once you have it up, you'll be able to see the last 50 EC droppers who visited your blog.

How will this widget benefit you and your blog? Well, according to the creator, "Just by dropping a card on my blog, your Entrecard ID is added to my Inbox and your blog name, link and description are displayed on the widget for the world to see. Your blog’s data remains there until it is pushed out of the inbox by the 50th (or so) visitor who drops his/her card."

It's a great way for me to show my appreciation for my readers and EC droppers, so I happily got myself one for Mariuca's Perfume Gallery and of course I'll be getting one for Mariuca as well.
