Perfect Birthday Scent

It was a perfect birthday for me this year! I received so many cool gifts and I had a fabulous time celebrating my special day with so many wonderful friends! B came home for lunch and surprised me with a lovely bouquet of lilies. They were so beautiful they literally took my breath away for a moment. My home-office is now enveloped with the heavenly scent of pink lilies, which by the way, means romantic. I guess B chose pink as it's one of my favourite colours. By the way, pink is also the colour of love, innocence, compassion and sweetness!

Among the wonderful gifts I received this birthday was a perfume from one of my best friends, who's also my neighbour - DD! Well, actually, she said it was from her new baby, Ali (who's super duper adorable by the way!). DD chose one of the most perfect gifts to give me - Pleasures Exotic by Estée Lauder! And, since it's one scent that I've been thinking of buying for quite a while now, it made her gift super sweet indeed! Thanks DD, I LOVE it!

Surrounded By Love n Scents!

As some of you already know, B went to LA recently for work purposes. Besides going there to attend the HSM2 premiere, he also got to stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim! How cool is that, being so close to Disneyland, the happiest place on earth? Anyway, being the superb hubby that he is, B made sure he got everything on my shopping list since I was sadly made to stay behind!

During his one week absence, I had some very nice friends keeping me company. Thanks to Janice, Jean, Emila, Adrian and NAFA for making my days without B more bearable. Although we've been married for almost 6 years now, the thought of us being apart always puts me in a glum! So you guys filled my days with joy and fun and before I knew it, B was back home, safe and sound! :)

When B finally got home, he presented me with loads of pressies to make up for my not being able to shop myself there! He managed to get most of my perfumes, scents, LUSH bath ballistics and all the other sweet smelling stuff I listed down for My Perfume Gallery! I have to say that I definitely had a ball being surrounded by so many sweet stuff and love!

How am I going to display all these lovely scents I wonder? LOL!

While B was away, I also took the opportunity to spring clean our condo. I had a busy week shopping, redecorating and moving stuff around! When he got home, he was pleasantly surprised that the place was spic and span and nicely decorated too. And guess what? For being such a great wife (according to B!), he presented me with this really cool BEST WIFE Oscar! Sigh... Is it a wonder then why I'm truly, madly, deeply in love with B?! Thanks love, you are the best and love you lots!

The Sweetest Award II

That Happy Feeling!

Happy was introduced by the design house of Clinique in 1997. It is also another favourite of mine, but I have yet to find the mini version, so it’s not in My Gallery just yet.

I love the modern twist of this sexy floral fragrance that sparkles with the lingering fragrance of Magnolia, Lily of the Valley, Mimosa, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Boysenberry Bush Flower and Hawaiian honeymoon flower.

Happy makes me feel all joyous and carefree inside, bringing smiles all around to brighten up any sad moments or gloominess. Happy makes things and life less complicated. It gives me the extra boost to embrace life positively with a big grin!

My Gallery Gets Creative!

I have not been buying any new perfumes ever since my Singapore shopping spree. I did check out the selection of mini fragrances available here but nothing took my fancy and most of them I already have in My Gallery. So perfume wise, I've been in a bit of a slump. My blogging journey however has been more fruitful and I am so happy to say that I received a very special award from Amber. Like me, she and I share something in common.
