Guess what? I WON the beautiful pink pearl necklace my friend TH, offered for her 6th Anniversary giveaway! I entered the contest without the slightest inkling to win. The contest winner will be randomly selected so it was really anyone's game and luck had to play a major role in order for me to win.
So last night, I was multitasking as usual; busy dropping EC, working on a new post, surfing the Net and dropping festive Christmas wishes for my friends, all the while browsing for personalized holiday gifts online. I hear Pentagon is offering a 20% discount promotion until the end of the year for these four items and I had my eye on the personalized thumb drive! :)

If you're wondering who I'm planning to get this for, it's actually for yours truly! It's Christmas after all and what's wrong with a little self-pampering on a special day right? Plus, this one comes in hot pink and I've been toying with the idea of getting a new thumb drive to replace my current one which only has a mere 2GB capacity.
While immersed in my pink thumb drive, I noticed a new comment from TH notifying me that her contest result was out. I rushed over to her blog, excited to see who won the beautiful necklace. Frankly, when I entered her giveaway, I did not place any hope to win simply because the winner will be randomly picked so it's really a matter of luck. I entered 6 entries but so did several other participants, some even had the maximum 8 entries! The only lucky draw I've ever won in my life was a jack-o-lantern in school when I was 8 years old. It was sadly quiet after that with no follow-up wins or further visits from Lady Luck. Apparently my lucky streak ended before it even started so you can imagine why I dared not hope to win this giveaway either.
My connection was playing tricks on me and everything seemed to be moving slower than usual but when I finally arrived at TH's blog, it was definitely worth the wait! I could not believe my eyes when I saw Mariuca as the winner! I actually rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming LOL! Thrilled beyond words, I rushed out of my office to tell B my awesome news, who also got excited on my behalf. I'm just so happy that I entered this giveaway by TH for it was not only fun, but very easy as well. The best part however remains the fact that out of the 70 entries received for the contest, I was lucky enough to finally WIN again after such a long wait! What a wonderful Christmas surprise, thank you TH and Merry Christmas everybody! :)
