I must not be late for this week's Music Monday! That's what I kept telling myself since mid week. I can't miss the boat this time for it's the last Monday of the year! Next Monday will see all of us welcoming a brand new 2009, so MM is my priority this week. :)
My chosen song for the last MM in 2008 is by Mezzoforte, a funk-fusion band from Iceland. It was B who got me hooked on Mezzoforte and ever since then, I have been a fan. I'm glad he introduced me to Mezzoforte for I love their music and thus, am thrilled to feature them as my closing act for Music Monday 2008.
Garden Party was the original theme song for Mariuca's Perfume Gallery, way back when I had my music player at my blog. It was the first song on my player list and I received many compliments on this song. One visitor even said this catchy upbeat jazz number made visiting MPG even more fun and entertaining, almost like shopping in a mall! I remember that comment well and take it as a lovely compliment till today. ;)
It has been a blast participating in MM and I hope to see you next Monday with a new song selection for your listening pleasure. Until then, I will leave you to usher in the New Year with Mezzoforte and their greatest hit Garden Party! :)
