Lush to the List

I first discovered Lush when B and I visited Zeff in Melbourne. We were shopping around the city centre when I caught a whiff of this sensational scent from inside the souvenir shop we were in. I found myself immediately entranced and walked outside like a zombie, not knowing where I was headed yet blindly drawn to the intoxicating aroma that was calling out to me!

As I walked a couple of doors away from the souvenir shop we were shopping in, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the wonderful scent so fresh and sweet, and even though I had no idea what Lush was or what it had to offer, I knew that it had to be something sensational.

I was right about that and the moment I stepped inside a beautiful store called Lush I was lost. Not in a bad way but the total opposite of course as I found myself willingly lost in all the wonderful products offered in Lush. Even the name sounds inviting! :)

You might wonder what is so special about Lush. Well, first and foremost the products offered are of excellent quality, so even though it might be a tad pricey, I don't mind spending on them. What’s unique about Lush is that products here share the distinctive scent of fresh, sweet-smelling essential oils, which is sweet enough to lure me into the store even without knowing what exactly was emitting this delightful scent!



Seriously, I can spend hours browsing through the extensive range of Skincare items, Soaps, Fragrances, Hair care products, Massage Bars and Bath & Shower products available in Lush. Each one smells even sweeter than the one before and my personal favourites are the Bath Ballistics and Bubble Bar Slices. Not only do they look enticing, they also smell so yummy, almost good enough to eat!

On B's last trip to Tokyo, which saw me home alone; I made sure I gave him a detailed list of all the must-have Lush items that I can never find here in Malaysia. He was true to his word and managed to get every single item on my list. The only thing missing in this picture is Mariuca happily shopping away! ;)

Now that my friend T is headed to New York soon for a much-envied vacation, I must remember to include some Lush items on my shopping list for her. Aside from the Victoria's Secret perfumes I am hoping she'd get for me, I really am in the mood for some Lush. Yes, I've done my research and apparently there are several Lush outlets in the city centre.
