Initially, I had a whole different song planned for this week's Music Monday. Right after I posted B's choice last Music Monday, I started thinking of my pick for this week. I was set on a particular song and even had the post all thought up in my head...and then I started having a FRIENDS marathon over the weekend! So while watching Season 2 of my favourite sitcom, I came across an episode, which featured Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, singing one of my sad love songs! So naturally fickle Mariuca changed her mind and decided on this song that you see here instead LOL!
Angel of the Morning has been recorded by several artistes but the one that I'm familiar with is Juice Newton' version. Painfully sad, this song is the one I used to turn to when drowned in emotional heartbreak. I love Juice Newton's take on this song but when I first heard Chrissie singing it on FRIENDS many years ago, I couldn't stop listening to her version. Her sincerely heart-wrenching performance of this song accompanied by her laidback guitar-strumming, makes it all the more melancholic in a strange sweet way, which simply reaffirms my devotion for this number. The song starts at 1.40 so maybe you can fast forward the video. And for FRIENDS lovers like me, do you guys remember this particular episode? Happy listening! :)

As long as it's not my hard disk still got hope.. now only need to find the right cable so A can transfer the data.. then only we sent Miss Fly to the service ctr.. aiyohh.. don't know how long I will be without PC.. worse am going back to SG on 9th to bring mommy to eye clinic for checkup..aiyah.. got Mr Nice Guy also no use if got no lappy... uwah!!!

I think got strong chance can still retrieve data if we find the right cable..the problem is finding the right cable..and for as long as the data is not recovered.. i takut nak send to service ctr for fear the wipe off the whole harddisk.. then I really die!!
LJ, why not bring Miss Fly terus to LY and find the right cable? And u should def keep Miss Fly with u until mmg confirmed takde harapan to retrieve data, good luck, lots of luck! Really hope Miss Fly will be okay soon, tak best la LJ takde lappy! :(

This is when Phoebe got fired because Terry (Central Perk's owner and this episode is the only one where he was seen) thought she couldn't sing.
I really felt for Phoebe because even though she's not that great a musician, she just kept going, even playing in front of the coffee shop for some change.
This is also the episode where Giovani Ribisi was first seen after he accidentally dropped a condom in Phoebe's guitar case. Of course he would later play Phoebe's brother, Frank Jr.
