New Facebook Application

Do you remember the post I recently wrote about my perfume addiction? I had recommended a special InTheRooms (ITR) community for those in need of a support group in battling their addiction. ITR provides the most current database of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Overeaters Anonymous (OA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA) meetings. Members come together; seeking help and guidance on overcoming their addiction with the help and support of other members in similar predicaments.

Anyway, ITR recently came up with a new InTheRooms Facebook App, which you can now add to your Facebook (FB) profile. This makes it easier for members to share recovery time with their FB friends. Members can also add a box on their FB profile to show how much time they have remaining in recovery. If you're an ITR member, this is something you might be interested in. It sounds like a neat application so check it out yeah?

Speaking of Facebook, I can't remember the last time I logged in to my games there. I used to be addicted to FB and its many cool applications but that was when I first discovered FB. It was still new and exciting then and each day I'd log in to have some FB fun.menari

Nowadays, I don't have the luxury of time to play my FB games. I am still a member however and I mostly use FB as a way to keep in touch with clien
ts, blog buddies and family. I do hope to see some new application or games on perfume however. Perhaps that will be the pulling factor to draw me back to FB again. Have a wonderful Thursday peeps! babai

How Rude! *

Boy! Do I have something to bitch about today and yes, it's about blogging and the sometimes WEIRD and PUSHY people I meet online!

As you know, I belong to several blog communities and programs and one of them is BlogCatalog. I get quite a few of Add Friend requests on a daily basis so what I usually do is I will check my BlogCat account once a week. And that's when I'll add new friends, read messages, reply to the important ones, join groups and so on.

So last night, I received a message from a certain blogger at BlogCat, which I thought was rather rude. Mind you, I do not know this blogger. Apparently, he had left me another message a day before, saying that he's added me to his Facebook friends and to please do the same. His second message, the one that got me riled up last night was to reprimand ME for not responding to his first message! What is up with that?

Okay, firstly, I wasn't even aware of his first message, so I had no idea that he sent in a friendship request to me. Please remember that I have many other better things to do than to check all the messages that come my way from the many different programs I hold membership
with. So sometimes, it takes longer for me to respond to your requests. Secondly, it is up to me to decide who I want to approve into my FB Friends List. It is after all, MY Facebook and I set it up the way I please so if I don't accept you into my list, you have no right to get pissed off with me! merajuk

Do not get upset with me for responding late to your message! You have no idea how I run my daily schedule, what more my odd sleeping hours. Just because I have a life other than quickly responding to strangers' request for my FB hand in friendship, that does not mean you should chew my head off with your rude message. I can't stand rudeness and this one is just too much! For someone who's actually making the request for me to approve him, this blogger's nasty message was totally uncalled for. All it succeeded in doing was to completely turn me off from even getting to know him. If he thinks I'm going to happily approve his request now, he has another thought coming his way! I am nice yes, accommodating definitely; but once you step on my tail and for no valid reason too, you are nothing more but an insignificant tick to me! takbole

As Michelle Tanner from the ever popular sitcom Full House would say - HOW RUDE!
