I was up till late last night, working on two new blog posts. One for my other blog and another post here to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Emila, who turns 39 today! I slept at almost dawn, convinced that I'd wake up late today but to my surprise, I woke up pretty early! Is the night owl in me turning into normal people mode now like my friend LJ? ;)
Anyway, I've been blogging and working since morning and was finally getting sleepy at around noon when I received a Facebook message from my good friend Zue, saying she'd drop by my place tomorrow! I knew she was dropping by sometime this week, but I didn't expect it to be so soon LOL!
My sleepiness immediately disappeared; replaced with a panic at the thought of having so many things to do before her arrival tomorrow. I have to get my house spic and span for her and make sure I keep certain sharp decor and objects out of the way, since she'll be bringing her baby boy along. I am however, excited at the prospect of meeting up with Zue. It has been way too long since our last meet. We were best friends back in college, partners in crime if you will. The things we used to do still have me in stitches whenever I think back to my fun-filled college days, but now that we're married, we just don't have the time to meet up as often as we'd like to. Furthermore, she stays all the way in KL and I'm a PJ girl who hardly ventures into KL unless it's necessary. I'm psyched at the thought of seeing her again and we have so much to catch up on so I don't mind all the cleaning but oh, Mariuca is definitely not looking forward to another busy day today! ;)
It's really too bad I don't have the luxury of a maid to help me with my house chores. I have to do everything myself, so I'm none too pleased with my messy home right now! I seriously need something to get my mind off my chores and this tedious routine I go through of cleaning the whole house by myself, every time a visitor comes over. Perhaps I'll check out some of the new online casinos games I discovered last weekend before getting down to some major mopping and dusting. A girl needs to have some fun too right?
