All Smiles Again! *

A friend once told me her boyfriend (then) used to send her all sorts of sweet text messages during their courtship. The most unforgettable one for me was "Bring me your sunshine and I'll bring you my smile". I thought that was the sweetest thing ever and I remember this phrase till today. After my last angry post, followed by feeling-blue post at Wishing on a Falling Star, I am just so relieved to welcome the weekend with lots of reasons to smile about!

Firstly, I finally got around to posting these delightful pictures here! B took these pictures on his last Japan trip back in March and I promised him I'd use them in one of my posts. As usual, the procrastinator in me never got around to it, until today that is, almost a year after his trip! Sorry love, I know I can get a little tardy sometimes but the pictures are finally up, so forgive me? ;)

B constantly reminded me about his Japanese ice cream pictures. Each time he mentioned the pictures, I'd retort back with "Coming soon. I'm waiting for a good time." The thing is, he took these shots especially for me. I did not ask him to take them, but the moment he saw this cute colourful shop, selling such tantalizingly delicious Japanese style ice-cream, his thoughts immediately went to me. He figured I'd surely want to display them at Mariuca's Perfume Gallery. After all, aside from perfume talk, MPG also loves featuring everything sweet and pretty! He almost missed his train too for stopping by to quickly snap some shots of this Monaka Ice Cream Store, poor baby! So what do you think, which one looks most yummy? ;)

Another reason for me to smile today is that I finally completed the job that has been keeping me up most nights for the past week. And now, I can breathe easy again and perhaps catch up on my favourite TV soap, which I've been neglecting thanks to my busy schedule! I still have to work on my invoices and what not but until my next eye-straining, mind-numbing technical translation comes along, I can at least look forward to a relaxing weekend before celebrating CNY on Monday.

I am also all smiles today because my other blog, Wishing on a Falling Star is currently in the running to bring home the annual 2008 Best Blog Annual BlogNet Awards Trophy! I am up against some wonderful bloggers, so even if I don't win, it is nonetheless an honour to just be nominated.
