Hola Mariucans! Firstly, I would like to apologize on behalf of my widgets here, specifically my Top 10 Mariucans and Top Weekly Mariucan widgets! They seem to have crazy independent minds of their own for the past few weeks. Add to that the comment synchronization problem I was facing with JS-Kit, the widgets seemed to stop working at one point. However, after much waiting and experimenting with several different widgets, I have decided to make some changes here, which will also apply to Wishing on a Falling Star of course. ;)
Due to certain technical problems, I have removed my Top Weekly Commentator widget here. Instead, I will be using a new Top Monthly Commentator widget, which seems to be working perfectly so far (thank you Shemah for mailing me the code). My current Top 10 Mariucans list will now feature my all-time Top 10 Commentators based on the last 5000 comments received. As you can see, LJ, who has been my number 1 Mariucan at MPG ever since day one has yet to be dethroned and is holding strong at 751 comments, thanks so much LJ! :)
The Top Monthly Commentator widget will feature my top 10 commentators for the month. It resets around every first week of the month, which means every commentator, new or old, will now get a fair chance to be my Top Mariucan of the Month! Depending on how often and diligently you spend time here at MPG; your comments for the month will count towards securing your spot on my Top Mariucan of the Month list. The winner will be featured in my side bar as my Top Mariucan of the Month. LJ was my Top Mariucan for January, congrats! :)
It's really not as confusing as it sounds, really LOL! So now, without further ado, I am proud to present my Top 10 Mariucans for January. I actually prepared this post on Feb 1st but due to the problems I mentioned earlier, I had to put it on hold until I made certain that the widgets of my choice are back to fully functioning again. Thank you to everybody who took the time to leave me comments here at my perfume gallery. It was really so much fun to interact with you guys last month especially since my recent switch to the JS-Kit Commenting system, which I LOVE! Will I see you guys back here in Feb? :)
