If forgiveness is truly hard to come by and you can’t seem to forget, I ask you to please not pretend to still be a friend. Tell me as it is and let me move on. I will miss you dearly but the grief caused by this farce of a friendship beseech me to seek my freedom.
There’s no need for torment and don’t keep me hanging. Waiting in vain for that day of forgiveness, which I know deep within, will never actually come. As hard as it is, I have no other choice but to face the harsh reality. And your unwillingness to sincerely forgive means nothing else but sad eventual goodbye…
