Surrounded by beauty is something the girly-girl in me loves. And now that B is feeling well enough to move around again, I am looking forward to a shopping spree soon. I can't wait to redecorate our bedroom and the first thing on my shopping list is curtains and bed sheets!
B cooped up inside the bedroom for a week while recovering from his surgery led me to cleaning and changing his sheets daily. I wanted to keep things clean and fresh while he was occupying the room so I changed the curtains as well. While rummaging through my chest for new sheets and curtains, I realized that we just don't have enough bed sheets or curtains for that matter! I mean we have enough to change on a regular basis but for emergencies like in the case of B needing clean sheets daily, it's always good to have a few extra sets around so I don't have to keep on washing and reusing the same ones.
MIL said she will give us some new sheets; all unused and fresh inside the plastic cover. She loves collecting bed sheets and they're all of excellent quality and good thread count. I'm definitely game since I can save on the bed sheets and spend more on curtains instead!
Perhaps I'll look at some Beaded Curtains, which are quickly becoming popular again. Plenty of stores are offering beaded curtains and products as a unique accessory to your home interiors. Easy to install, they are sure to liven up any room, big or small. I found several cool ones online and they definitely caught my eye.
My home office does not have a door and a nice set of beaded curtains would do nicely there. I don't want to put in a door simply because I don't like being in a closed room while I work inside my home office. So for now, I love that my home office remains door less but beaded curtains would definitely add some character and a dash of privacy; keeping me comfy and inspired to work and blog all day...and night!

Nice beads! I have a different one at my door too, it's kind of like in the 60th, it's not beads but some sort of plastic material round in shape with few colors, quite nice, but I just added it up to cover the door. Luckily my cats do not bother to play with it, only in the early stages, but I scolded them and now they ignore it. What about your beads when you put up next time, I think your 3 babies Meow Meow will love to play with it, unless they are out of reach!
I love bed sheets, I used to collect, bought them at Isetan, KLCC when I was in KL.
Marzie, I must say here that you are truly a good house wife too beside being a professionl blogger and copy writer, I do admire you. When you mentioned changing bedsheet everyday or B, my, my, you are truly a clean and hygenic individual, glad to hear that especially when B got no choice but to only rest in the bedroom. With new bedsheet changed everyday, not only it is good and hygenic, it will create a different admosphere for him, the smell of the newly washed bedsheet plus perhaps the different in design and color will light up the room. Again, I must admit here, if I am a man, I will fall for you in no time. You are a masterpiece of a good woman, bukan hendak puji lebeh2 but as I've been reading to most of your blog these days make me know you as a person by nature.
