While waiting for B to come home so we can do grocery shopping tonight, I decided to do a little People Search. Facebook is by far the best place to look for a long lost friend especially since everybody seems to have one. But sometimes there are those hard-to-find friends that though remain close at heart, are just impossible to locate on Facebook, like my old best friend Sabrina from Ottawa, Canada. I've tried several times to look her up on Facebook to no avail.
Someone suggested I try the newly-launched kgbpeople.com, which is a people search engine. As users, you can also monitor your own profile on the Web, set alerts and basically manage your online reputation by allowing what to be displayed and otherwise.
How do you start looking for a long-lost friend at kgb? Well, all you have to do is type the name of the person you're looking for in the provided search box. You can enter the person's first and last name or even a nickname. Wait for a minute while kgb search the web and other social networks like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Blogger, Digg and the likes for profiles, images and more that matches your search criteria.
I typed in B's name just for fun and apparently there is another guy with his same exact name on FB! The only difference is that this guy was wearing a cowboy hat and looks the total opposite of my darling, which I thought was funny! Maybe you should key in your other half's name too, just to see what or who will show up under their names!
Okay, B should be home soon so I'm going to start getting ready for dinner. I hope to catch up with you later tonight after my grocery session!
