Happy Birthday Monica! **

Happy Birthday to my gorgeous best blog buddy forever - the lovely Monica of Turn-u-Off! She leaves for her 3-week break today which is why we are celebrating her birthday a day early!

It would be so wrong to send Monica off on her merry way without a proper birthday celebration for she is truly one of my best online friends.

I love the ease in which we can chit-chat our way into the night and I appreciate her concern for me whenever I go MIA for a few days without any news. I love her for always cheering me up when I am down and I cherish the gossip sessions we both secretly enjoy whenever there's something juicy to dissect. Her friendship and support for me and my blogs has been relentless and I will truly miss her presence in my online life while she's away.

So today, I would like to thank Monica for the beautiful friendship she has shared with me since we first met online more than two years ago. It has been a complete joy and truly an honour to have one so caring, funny, easygoing, and just lovely extend her hand in friendship to me.


HAPPY BIRTHDAY Monica! May this day bring you lots of love and joy and let's make this birthday one to treasure for always. Have a wonderful trip sweetie; I will definitely miss you so!

Scent-Sational Makeover! *

Totally loving my awesome brand new template, courtesy of BFF Lady Java! The more I look at it, the wider my smile for this has got to be the best makeover ever for MPG! My previous makeover was also done by LJ but this latest one defines everything MPG to perfection; exactly what I visualized in my head before witnessing it's realization at Mariuca's Perfume Gallery!

Let's take a look at the old MPG shall we?

And now the new scent-sational MPG!

As you can see from the screen shots above, pretty MPG is now sporting a 4-column template, with 2 on the Left, posting column in the middle and another smaller sidebar on the Right. I have always loved the 4-column template so this was my chosen template for Lady Java to work her magic on.

Thanks to LJ for making my dream template come to life with her tweaking, re-arranging, re-aligning and of course all the coding required to get my perfume blog looking exactly the way I want it to! Isn't she awesome? She refers to LJ and not MPG ha ha although both are looking extra gorgeous in my eyes after this makeover!

Other changes include a lovely new background I selected to replace the previous pink heart theme. I also added a dash of lavender to the colour theme of this new template, which I think makes my perfume blog prettier. And for the first time since I started this blog, I finally changed my font from my favourite Trebuchet to this current Verdana, what do you think?

So right now, I am one happy camper and I'm so glad I spent the last few days working on my template with BFF Lady Java! Happy Birthday Lady Java! **

This is no longer a test post! It is as real as it gets and it is a very important post so I hope everyone pays attention for today is my BFF Lady Java's Birthday!!!

What can I say about LJ? Plenty but the most important thing is that she has always been by my side through thick and thin. From that fateful night we met as night owls; she has been nothing but supportive, helpful, understanding and simply so kind to me. I love that we both share the same passion for blogging (although she's leaps and bounds ahead of me with about 10 blogs to her name!) and cats. And I love that she gets me, my mood swings, my thoughts and ideas and she continues to be my pillar of strength even in my offline world.

So today, I would like to say THANK YOU to Lady Java for being a wonderful friend to me and I hope our friendship will last for always.
