Waiting for my very own bathtub can get very daunting sometimes. You might think I'm a little nuts for wanting and longing for a bathtub of my own but that's how it is when you don't have something that you really love. The yearning, the wondering and the wait is something you go through on a daily occurrence. I see my shower inside my bathroom and then I look at all the beautiful scent-sational Lush bath products sitting on my dresser and a sigh involuntarily escapes; wistfully wishing for a huge bathtub to soak all my worries and stress away.
On my last visit to Tokyo, we stayed in two different hotels, one in Shinjuku and another in Roppongi. When I first entered the hotel suite in Shinjuku, the first thing I checked was the bathroom for I could not wait to luxuriate in a spacious bathtub. I was however shocked into silence at the size of the compact bathtub waiting for me inside!
So shocked was I that I totally forgot to take pictures of the extremely tiny bathroom and the very compact bathtub the Japanese managed to squeeze inside such a tiny suite. I think the bathroom size is even smaller than my current bathroom at home!
Anyway, after 3 days of staying in the Shinjuku hotel, I never once took a bubble bath simply because the tub was too small to really enjoy a good bath, know what I mean? So even though I know now that it is possible to install a tiny compact bathtub inside my not-so-big bathroom at home, I told B that it's best to wait until we move into a bigger home with a bigger bathroom suite prior to installing our own bathtub.
And when that time comes, I know just where to go to get ideas on designs and furniture for my new bathroom - Better Bathrooms! Currently offering a massive year-end deal of the month on all Bathroom Suites, Better Bathrooms take complete pride in providing homes with Better Prices and Better Deals.
