Charming and traditional all at once, I do think this result suit my beauty style pretty well. Plus, I’m most comfortable in jeans, which is why I stock up on a few pairs every few months. Simple elegance is what I am all about and though I sometimes dress down when the situation or place calls for it, I do love dressing up when attending special occasions or events!

Picture the immense fun you and your girlfriends can share with this awesome kit. By the way, I for one am not very good at home manicures and usually only have my nails done professionally. That way they last longer and I always look forward to the hand massage my manicurist gives me whenever I drop by the beauty salon. Too bad it’s a mere 5 minutes, I must convince her to extend the massage bit next time.

Snip, Snip! *

I can’t wait for my hair makeover tomorrow! I’ve already made an appointment with my hairstylist and it will be a whole-day affair. I need to chop off my locks, do treatment and all the other necessary processes to get me looking good and away from the 'wifey clown' image I’m currently sporting!

I’ve been thinking about this makeover for days and I’m sure you ladies out there understand what I mean when I say cutting hair/changing hairstyle is a big issue. Your makeover can turn out simply scent-sational OR totally unlike the image you’ve initially conjured inside your head. I wanna go short but not too short. I would love to come out of the salon tomorrow looking like a million bucks though! Jennifer Anniston truly does have the best hair doesn’t she?

However, I am very well-versed with the workings of my hair and its texture etc and I am very familiar with my facial features and whatever shortcoming they have. So as much as I would love to sport this sleek and short new hairdo, I know it won’t turn out exactly like this. My hair is oh-so-thick, which means I’d have to really thin it down with a heavy-duty straightening or by ironing every few weeks to avoid a poofy (as my friend Ane, would say) look and I’m not sure I have the patience or the diligence to do so!

Wish me luck for tomorrow’s makeover then. I also need to shop for a new outfit for dinner plans with friends this weekend. I’ve not seen most of them in ages so I gotta look my best if you know what I mean? Wonder how much this makeover is gonna cost me!

Sensational Singapore - Victoria's Secret *

This is a terrible picture of me but it's also the only one B took of Victoria's Secret during our Singapore getaway last weekend so here goes!

We had spent the whole day in Universal Studios Singapore and VS was the last stop of the day before heading back to our hotel. I was hot, sweaty, exhausted and definitely in no mood to pose for a good picture!

I was however excited to finally shop in a real Victoria's Secret store after so long! I usually get my VS stuff from friends who travel abroad. KL has yet to launch an outlet here so until then, it's shopping via friends or online when it comes to Victoria's Secret.

No pictures allowed inside but basically the Victoria's Secret store in Singapore is rather small. Lingerie and fashion accessories are limited and the bulk of items available revolve around the scented products. Everything is a little pricey too and since I still have a lot of unopened VS scented products at home, I was extra careful in choosing my one single purchase!

After browsing for a good twenty minutes, I finally decided on the Bombshell set, which came with a gorgeous silver bag! Frankly, it was the bag that caught my attention and the accompanying scent is a current bestseller so I was sold!

I have never been a bag person but lately, I find myself drawn to bags whenever I shop and even purchased another white one too this Singapore trip! Totally loving my new VS bag and can't wait to show it off!

Updated my FCSB today and I was shocked to realize that I only published two miserable posts this month OMG! I actually apologized to my blog on Twitter but seriously, I felt a little bad about neglecting my scent-sational blog!

To make up for my laziness, I am including a last-minute post for March. It's the last day of March (thank goodness for 31 days!) so let's end this month with something fun, like this beauty quiz!

Apparently, my signature make-up is face paint! The only time I painted my face like this was during a fancy dress party many years ago. I went as Pocahontas so a little face painting was definitely called for! Does this mean I have to start painting my face now?!
